Our Concern

The current migration policy in Switzerland and the way people are treated at the external borders of Europe show once again how racist our social structures are. The same opportunities do not apply to all people who arrive in Switzerland. It is very remarkable what solidarity refugees from Ukraine are able to experience and at the same time inconceivable how people from other countries of origin have to fight for their rights. We are of the opinion that the advantages of the protection status S should be applied to all people seeking protection. This means that everyone has a right of residence, the right to family reunification, and everyone has a right to accommodation, support and medical care, as well as a right to education for children, young people and adults. All migrants must also be granted the right to travel abroad without a permit and to return to Switzerland. In addition, all migrants should have the opportunity to pursue gainful employment (including self-employment) without a waiting period.

Unfortunately, however, this is not the case and very many people have only limited access and are even denied the opportunity to visit their families abroad. In many cases, this leads to psychological problems and is particularly disastrous for young people.

For these and other reasons, we have created the “All for All” alliance. We would like to use your life stories and experiences to draw the attention of the Swiss population to the grievances in migration policy, to sensitise them to them and to educate them. In order to better understand the grievances, we are looking for people who can talk to us (anonymously) about life in Switzerland.
